Junction City is one of Yangon's premier modern shopping malls, offering international brands, local boutiques, dining, and entertainment in air-conditioned comfort downtown.
History
Junction City opened in 2017 as a landmark mixed-use development by the Shwe Taung Group on a prime downtown block near Bogyoke Market. Its 25-storey tower brought the Pan Pacific hotel, international retail brands, and a CGV cinema to a city that had seen little large-scale mall construction for years. The project symbolised Yangon's post-2011 economic opening and appetite for modern urban amenities.
